JUST FOR THE RECORD......

I love to create, and I love to inspire others to create. That's why I post to my blog, so I can share ideas with others. I know as an artist, I am always inspired by things other artists or crafters create. It is never my intent to copy someone's idea, I always try to put own own spin on something, or create a work of art out of something that personally inspires me; like a scripture, quote, pattern or colors, etc. I don't mind at all if you try my ideas, like art on a Pizza Box, but please make it your own. My designs are original and mean something to me, so please don't copy them, especially for the purpose of profit. Feel free to repost anything you see on this blog, (except for photos of my family) as long as you give proper credit, and I'd love to know you've done so...it will make my day! Thanks so much.

The Power of Pinterest

I know it's been forever since I've posted anything on my blog here at Calling All Sleepyheads. The truth is, I've really been focused on my art and teaching art to kids, so most of my posts, when I can find time, are to my other blog, Sleepyhead Designs Studio. If you are interested in art and children's art, check out my regular posts there.

I have been amazed, however, the amount of people that continue to visit my site, and mostly all because of Pinterest! I am a big fan myself, so I understand the draw, and love the fact that people continue to "pin" and share my projects.

I wanted to recap my top three posts that have received an incredible amount of traffic because of Pinterest. I also have a couple of projects I hope to finish this summer, so hopefully I'll have few new, fun things to share. In the meantime, follow me on Pinterest, Facebook or my art blog.
